Welcome!

A few years ago, our pastor gave us an assignment to go home and ponder what God would say about us in a fatherly way, and to come prepared to share the following Sunday. Our pastor is such a positive thinker, I am sure he assumed we would all go home and find out wonderful things from God about who we are in His eyes.

While thinking about this assignment, I anguished over what I perceived my worth was. I prayed and said to God, “I can’t think of anything good that you would say about me. I feel like dirt.”

Let me tell you, God spoke to me in that moment! As it turns out, it takes dirt to create life. This website is born from that encounter with Jesus.

My first entry on this site is a more detailed explanation of that encounter. You can read it here.

Thank you for being here and for taking time to read my writings. May God bless you and keep you! ~Amelia
